GURUJI MURUGAN CHILLAYAH (MALAYSIA)
Founder – World Yoga Association | Lead Yoga Trainer (E-RYT 500) | Mahaguru (Grandmaster in Indian Traditional Arts) | Global Educator
Guruji was born in Malaysia, is a highly experienced spiritual teacher, master of Kundalini yoga, founder of World Yoga Association (WYA), and Mahaguru (Grandmaster) in several Indian traditional arts, including Traditional Yoga, Silambam, Kuttu Varisai, and Varma Kalai. Guruji has introduced a groundbreaking perspective to the yoga world—exploring how geography, energy, and psychology intersect to shape human consciousness. With over 30 years of dedicated practice, he has devoted his life to the study, preservation, and transmission of yogic wisdom, Hindu culture, yogic science, meditation, and traditional weapons training. Guruji merges the precision of international business leadership with the discipline of yogic tradition. His training programs reflect this unique synthesis, where yoga teachers are not only empowered as spiritual practitioners but also nurtured as ethical leaders, visionary educators, and responsible global citizens. Initiated as a Brahmacharya-Sannyasi at Omkarananda Dipeshwar, he is reverently known as "Karthikeya Baba" among yogis and sadhus of the Himalayas—a title that reflects his ascetic way of life and unwavering commitment to spiritual simplicity and traditional teachings. Committed to preserving and sharing sacred teachings rooted in both ancient knowledge and contemporary science, he guides individuals on their path to self-discovery, inner strength, and enlightenment with humility and devotion.
