SUBSCRIPTION AGREEMENT (“Agreement”)

IMPORTANT – By enrolling in the World Yoga Teacher Training (WYTT) program, individuals or their parents/guardians consent to abide by the Technical Regulations, Code of Conduct, and Safeguarding Rules of the World Yoga Association (Persatuan Yoga Dunia)(WYA).

World Yoga Association membership, benefits, and insurance coverage are only valid while training in our registered clubs, organizations, or approved training programs listed on the membership system or manual application form. Membership is also valid when participating in a WYA-sanctioned event.

1) Membership:

WYTT participants must agree to these Terms & Conditions at the time of enrollment.

• Membership is strictly personal and non-transferable.

• Membership fees are non-refundable and subject to annual review by the Executive Committee.

• Membership may be designated as "Lifetime" unless specified as "Annual Term," in which case it will expire 12 months from the purchase date.

• Individual members may request a transfer of membership to another affiliated club by contacting Membership Services.

• Members who violate these terms may have their membership suspended or revoked without refund, at the sole discretion of WYA.

2) Membership Data:

World Yoga Association collects and processes personal data solely for the purpose of membership administration, training program management, and related services. All personal data is protected in accordance with GDPR regulations and other applicable data protection laws.

Data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes without explicit member consent. Members may update their personal information by contacting secretary@world-yoga.org.

3) Pricing:

Training packages are available for purchase on our website, with each package valid from the date of first enrollment.

• No credits, refunds, or extensions will be issued for missed sessions or early withdrawals while a package is active.

• Classes will not be held on Public Holidays, and no make-up classes or credits will be issued for these days.

• We reserve the right to modify class fees at our sole discretion.

• Weekend classes are available with additional charges and extended durations to accommodate training hours.

4) Early Bird Discount:

Participants are eligible for an Early Bird Discount of 10% off the total program fee if they book and pay a 50% deposit at least 90 days before the WYTT start date through an approved third-party platform. The remaining balance must be paid in full 30 days before the WYTT start date. If a participant cancels:

• More than 60 days before the WYTT start date: They will receive a 100% refund of the deposit.

• 30-59 days before the WYTT start date: They will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.

• 0-29 days before the WYTT start date: The deposit is non-refundable.

5) Class Request:

If your location is not available on our booking platform and you wish to start Yoga Teacher Training classes at your location, please contact us at secretary@world-yoga.org.

Please note that any facility booking costs for your location will not be covered by the World Yoga Association.

6) Refunds:

WYTT program fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. There are no make-up classes for missed sessions due to vacations, personal reasons, or scheduling conflicts.

Weekend classes for WYTT are conducted for extended durations (1.5 to 2 hours) to accommodate missed training hours within each cycle. Additional weekend classes may be scheduled upon request at an extra charge, subject to instructor availability, and will be included as part of the overall training structure.

World Yoga Association reserves the right to cancel any WYTT program with insufficient registration one week before the start date. In cases where a class is canceled due to low enrollment or scheduling conflicts, affected participants will be transferred to the next available session.

If a class is canceled due to instructor unavailability or facility-related issues, a make-up class will be scheduled, or credit hours will be provided for future training sessions.

7) Cancellation Policy:

• 100% deposit refund if canceled 60+ days before the WYTT start date.

• 50% deposit refund if canceled 30-59 days before the WYTT start date.

• 0% deposit refund if canceled 0-29 days before the WYTT start date.

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their attendance in training sessions. Any failure to attend due to personal reasons, scheduling conflicts, or other commitments will not exempt participants from the terms of the cancellation policy. No refunds, transfers, or make-up sessions will be granted due to absenteeism.

8) Remaining Balance Payment (after pay the deposit):

• The remaining balance must be paid in full 30 days before the WYTT start date.

• If the full balance is paid at the time of booking, a full refund of the remaining balance (excluding the deposit, refer to the deposit refund policy) is available if canceled more than 30 days before the WYTT start date.

• If a participant cancels 0-29 days before the WYTT start date, the remaining balance (including deposit) is non-refundable.

9) Liability Waiver:

By enrolling in WYTT, participants (or their legal guardians) acknowledge and accept all inherent risks associated with yoga training.

The World Yoga Association, its instructors, and employees shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from participation in training sessions, events, or other related activities. Participants assume full responsibility for their own safety and well-being during all WYTT programs.

10) Photography & Videos:

Participants consent to the use of photos and videos taken during WYTT sessions for promotional and marketing purposes. If a participant wishes to opt out, a written request must be submitted to secretary@world-yoga.org with the subject line "PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS."

11) Yoga Uniforms & Equipment:

WYTT uniforms and equipment can be purchased by emailing secretary@world-yoga.org with the subject line "Yoga Uniform" or "Yoga Equipment." Participants must specify size, age, and any additional requirements.

12) Medical Conditions:

Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions that could impact their participation in training. This information should be provided via email to secretary@world-yoga.org or shared during the enrollment process.

13) Pandemic or Epidemic Situations:

In the event of a pandemic, epidemic, or government-imposed restrictions (e.g., COVID-19), all WYTT sessions will be conducted online as an alternative to in-person training.

• Purchased packages will continue to be used for these online sessions.

• No refunds, extensions, or credits will be provided for participants who choose not to attend online classes.

• Participants agree to comply with any revised training formats implemented due to public health directives.

By enrolling in WYTT, participants acknowledge and accept all terms outlined in this Agreement. World Yoga Association reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, with updates communicated through official channels.
