Sivananda Yoga

Sivananda Yoga is a traditional style of yoga founded by Swami Sivananda, emphasizing a holistic approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The practice integrates asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, and proper diet, along with the teachings of the five points of yoga: proper exercise, proper breathing, proper relaxation, proper diet, and positive thinking. This comprehensive system encourages balance and harmony in daily life, promoting health, vitality, and spiritual growth. Sivananda Yoga is widely practiced for its calming, therapeutic effects and its focus on developing a deeper connection to the self and the universe.
